Republic of Work is Ireland's leading innovation hub and coworking space, based at 12 South Mall in the heart of the city. We’re home to startups, scaleups, remote teams and enterprise clients and we’ve recently expanded significantly (15,000sqft - 22,000sqft), adding new floors and increasing our capacity to serve Cork’s growing business community. The role

We're looking for a Member Services Associate who keeps Republic of Work running smoothly and makes everyone who walks through the door feel genuinely welcome. You'll be the heartbeat of the space, the first face members see, the person who solves problems before members notice them, and the glue that holds the community experience together.


What you'll do

  • Be the first point of contact for members, visitors, and enquiries in person, by phone, and by email.

  • Oversee all reception services, and facilities maintenance.

  • Handle administrative tasks such as mail sorting, package management.

  • Support the management team with various administrative duties such as book keeping and payroll duties. 

  • Handle membership administration: onboarding new members, sending out contracts, and dealing with general membership queries.

  • Coordinate meeting room and event space bookings, ensuring everything is set up and ready.

  • Support on the delivery and ideation of community activities.

  • Oversee the ordering of general office supplies.

  • Assist the General Manager with reporting, communications, and ad-hoc projects.

  • Champion the community, building relationships with members and making Republic of Work a place people love to come to!

What we're looking for

  • Experience in an administrative, operations, or hospitality role.

  • A warm, professional manner - you genuinely enjoy working with people.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks without dropping one.

  • Proactive problem-solver, you notice what needs doing and do it.

  • Proficient on Google Workspace, booking systems, and Hubspot.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • An interest in startups, entrepreneurship, or the innovation ecosystem is a bonus!

Location & Eligibility

This role is based full-time on site at Republic of Work, 12 South Mall, Cork city centre. Candidates must be living in Cork or be in a position to start immediately without requiring relocation support. All applicants must have the right to work in Ireland.
